Officially, one lap in swimming is down, turn, and swim back to starting place. If you have a standard 25 yard pool, 50 yards equal one lap. To be able to say you are swimming laps, you need a minimum of two of these 50 yard units, or a total of one hundred yards. You can sort of "cheat," by finding a smaller pool -- 2 laps in my 6 foot kiddie pool would be 24 feet, if I could keep my tummy off the bottom...
Should not take too long for you to get in condition, every-other day, at least 3 times a week for 4 weeks and you'll have massive muscles, be able to tear orcs and smallish dragons apart!

Ooooo, I have a 4ft diameter pool. Can't even stretch out...I'll just sorta rock back and forth!
Good for you, Stormy! Swimming is a lot of fun, too!

Oooooo! MASSIVE muscles! I would be happy to tone and unflap the wings on my arms! Massive muscles would be a bonus tho! There are goblins in the woods around us but haven't seen any orcs or dragons yet.
I think I have some time to hit the pool before our afternoon questing too.
Took Twizzle to a dog training place today for a half hour swim for her this morning, too. 90 degree temp! She can go for the little dragons as long as they don't fly too high.
Twizzle has one of those back yard pools the same size as yours, Fan.

This is the camp pool. Forgive my awful selfie shot. Never take good selfies.

Thanks for liking my selfie. I don't like squinting, but in the sun that can't be helped.
I am pretty sure the pool is Olympic sized. So being very long, I do need more rest time.

I'm sorry that I didn't comment earlier. You really do have a nice smile. Much better than mine, which in my opinion, looks like a grimace.

Well, I have very thin lips and I feel like I am one of those tight lipped, disapproving old biddies. So smiling helps relieve that appearance!

Old Mrs. Finn, my 4th grade teacher. I still talk about her and draw my lips in so they disappear to mimic her. "She was SOOOOO mean, she didn't have any lips!" Makes kids laugh!

Desi cracks me up! Her oldest is in Navy Boot Camp and she got the address to send him mail. So she had his dog write him a letter.
