Art Board Purpose and Explanation

The Tolkien's Ring Art Message Board
will be to discuss the visual world of Tolkien,
your artwork and other related art topics.
We won't always stay on topic but
we will always stay on art!

Just a quick FYI...
In an effort to not be caught up in any copyright issues, the TR management is curently working on getting written (ie:email) permission to use other's art on our site.

If you have a favorite artist, and/or wish to post some of JRRT's art, we ask that you give us the contact information so that we may email the artist or proper persons to get permission to post. (Most artist's say Yes happily as long as we post their contact info---which we ALWAYS do!)

Once we compile a list of artists who have given us the permission, we will post it for your convenience!

Thanks for your help with this. We really wish to showcase all the beautiful art we find out there but we must do so in a proper manner.

UPDATE
The list of artists who have given us permission to show their work has been posted as well as some sites that agreed to let us post work that is entered on their sites.

PLEASE be sure to list the name of the artist and link to the site you found the art at.

If an artist contacts us about not using a piece of their art, it will be removed immediately in compliance with the guidelines of the Proboard administration.
