Somewhere on the site someone (I believe it was Magpie) explained it to me but cannot find it. Is there a contest on now? I have 2 pieces of my art as files in my computer now! But don't know how or where to send them. Vanye

Vanye: You cannot copy and paste any of your pictures directly into the posts here. You must first load them into the Tolkien's Ring Member Photobucket album at photobucket.com/albums/v230/TRmembers/ The password is tolkienrules. all lower case. Desi set up an album for you there. As Desi said above: Scroll down the page to the blue links, click on Member album- VanyeClick the browse button to find where you have your picture stored on your PC, (select it), then click submit. Once a picture is added, you will see URL TAG and IMG under it, copy the IMG info and paste that into a post at TR, and you are done!

Vanye you can't just copy and paste the name of the picture, you first have to put it onto the photobucket account. Go to this website photobucket.com/albums/v230/TRmembers/ once you are at that website (the photobucket website) scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see blue links, one of them is named Member album- Vanye, click on it. Then you need to click the browse button to find where you saved your picture on your computer. once you have it selected click submit. Once you have your pictures in photobucket I will give you the next steps to get it in TR. If you can not figure out the photobucket site email me your pictures to desibaggins@yahoo.com

OK....now that the pictures are in Photobucket, look underneath the two pictures in your album.
The html codes for Url, Tag, and Img are listed underneath each of your pictures.
Url is if you want people to go to this link, Tag is when you write a webpage and you are putting the image on the page, and Img is what you want to use to post your picture here in a post.
So highlight and copy the code for IMG (this is for your horse picture):
[IMG]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v230/TRFriends/Friend%20album-%20Vanye/horsey01.jpg[/IMG]
Then paste it in your post! Your picture should appear!

Yeah, Vanye! I was rooting for you girl. That's a terrific horse. It has a lot of character. Is it a representational image of a real horse (like a Percheron or Belgium Draft horse?) or is it more fantastical? Either way I really like it.

Magpie: I didn't think that it had worked until I logged on just now, cuz when i last logged off it had not yet shown up! Now if I can remember how I did it I'll get the Dragon on there too. The horse is fairly realistic but exagerated in the proportions & looks pretty much like Shire which is the largest Draft breed! Vanye
P. S. I see that Desi did some magic after I logged off, Thanx Desi!@

I think the key is to hit 'preview'. If you can see it in preview, you should be set. If not, something is wrong. It should show up right away. and, for the record... I realized after I hurrah-ed you, that Desi had done an edit. She's just like a little brownie, isn't she... coming in and making the shoes at night.

It wasn't working for some odd reason. I went into your post by clicking the modify button to see what you did to see if I could figure out why it wasn't showing. Everything looked correct. So I deleted what you had and repasted it and it worked. So there was some glitch, but you had it correct. If you need to look back at what you did in the post with the horse just go look at that post in the upper right hand corner click the word modify. Then it will change to how it looks when you are first writing your post and you can see how or what you need to copy and paste for the other picture.
