My son is starting to read now, but all the easy readers like Dick and Jane are boring for him. So I thought we had lots of creative folks here maybe we can write our own easier reader Middle-earth tales. This isn't too hard a story can be just 10-20 sentences and you can post that in one reply on this thread. Then what I will do is using my print shop make each sentence a page and print out the story for him to read. If you are really talented you can do some art work for your story. Also remember to give your story a title!

You said Dick and Jane were too boring for him. Is it the story line that is boring or are the words too easy and not challenging enough?
Well, I made one about The One Ring and sent it to you in email. I think it might be a bit difficult for Quenten though. Let me know if he can read it or not.

The stories are boring and too cute. He lives action and adventure. I got your story so when I get a chance I will have him try to read it.
