Very mysterious! I am not as familiar as I would like to be with The Silmarillion material. It would take me awhile to find the answer to this!
Can you give a clue whether this person is Human, Elf, Dwarf, or other?

Hullo, Nienor,
I'll bet, just off the top of my head that you are Nienor.
LOL, but doing the homework anyway, there are three possibilities I found based on the requirement of Edain status, possessing two siblings:
1. Bereth of the House of Beor. She has two male siblings who die in the wars of the Elder Age. But, she presumably has dark hair. Bereth "falls out" of the recorded tales of her own First Age times, ("seen no more in Middle-earth" in a sense) but must have had children as Erendis, wife of the Numenorean king Tar Aldarion was a descendant of Bereth's.
2. Glóredhel of the House of Hador, again has two siblings, has golden hair herself, but is, unfortunately, the eldest child not the youngest. She also has a recorded end, she died grief stricken shortly after her husband Haldir.
3. Which leaves us with your namesake, Nienor. An Edain noble, daughter of golden haired Hurin and dark haired Morwen, she was herself golden haired. She had two elder siblings -- Turin and Lalaith. Lalaith died in childhood of some plague, Turin, like the Kalevala hero Kullervo (upon whom he was based), dies by his own hand. Nienor, however, may not have died at this time, though she threw herself into a gorge, for there was no confirmation of her actual death, though she was seen no more in Middle-earth...
So, I'll hazard Nienor.

That was good, Nienor, as, for some reason I remembered Nienor as a brunette, like Turin, and had to re-read the section that called her fair-haired...
So, for the next identity-riddle, hair colour plays no part at all:
I played a minor supporting role, replacing my crippled master in a perilous hunt. I tried my best to close with the beast, but never came closer than a fatal "stone's throw."
Who am I?
