I think their could have been two more choices, but then again, Desi has not read The Silmarillion. Ainulindalë and Valaquenta could also have been added.
I guess both of these fall under the First Age--or perhaps they could be included together under a category "The Creation."
Anyway, I chose First Age because this comes the closest to the Age I like. I would liked to have seen the Creation of Arda by the Valar and Ainur. It sounds very mystifying and beautiful (the music and creation) as well as dangerous (Melkor's defiance and restructuring).

The Third Age is the era that has most of the characters I know and love. But visiting during the War of the Ring would be rather hazardous. As an Age covers a lot of time, I would vote to visit earlier in the Third Age, perhaps during the time of The Hobbit. That way, I could hang with Bilbo, tour various spots in Middle-earth, and go to Rivendell to spend hours reading books of Elvish lore by a fire. Sounds like a nice vacation to me.

To be "in" at the Beginning, as Stormrider indicates, would be quite an awesome experience... And my frequent imaginary treks through Middle-earth often mirror Fredegar's thinking -- don't really want to be in on the final War of the Rings, but would love to be around to record the less hectic though still dangerous interactions of the Tooks with Gandalf (the generation before Bilbo).
But today, just to be a bit different, I think I'd rather live in the early parts of the Second Age, and travel outward from Numenor with the peaceful, trading/ exploring adventurers. To sail the new oceans and seas of the re-formed earth at a time when the light and graces of the world were still bright and not yet so faded would be grand. Of course I'd try to mount an inland expedition up the Great River of Anduin -- just to see what the ancient Hobbits of Rhovanion were learning from the Entwives in their gardens south of Greenwood the Great.

I have chosen the First Age. Then the Elves, which I still see as the most magical of the peoples of Middle-earth, were at their glory then. The five great battles also give a high amount of spectacle and drama. And I really would like to have seen one of the Silmarils. Though I hope I wouldn't want to keep it then!
Second Age comes second for me. I know much less about that Age, compared to First and Third. It would be nice to see how the Elves and Humans initially adapted after the disaster.

I would go for the 3rd age....I guess because I know most about the characters of that age so I would like to get to know them.
