This one really isn't a story, but it is great for info! I found it way cool that the people of Númenor enjoyed horses and were very knowledgable of them!
I wonder if any Numenor horse breeding went into the mearas?
The people of Númenor traveled by horseback, both men and women took delight in it and loved horses. The horses were treated honourably and were housed nobly. They were trained to hear and answer calls from great distances. Old tales told that there was a great love between the men/women and their great steed and they could be summoned by thought alone.
I wonder if any Numenor horse breeding went into the mearas?
