The road to Middle-earth has not been a straight or easy path for Majah. After a RL detour of almost 30 years, the books were picked up and dusted off in anticipation of refreshing a tired, jaded brain stem with the wonderful memories of ME before the visual Peter Jackson motion picture machine would burst over the horizon. But to aid in that ambitious undertaking, a need arose to seek out like souls to bounce off ideas and questions that only another Tolkien pilgrim would understand. This bend in the road brought Majah to her own fellowship of Tolkien's Ring and since she has traveled in their gracious, loving and questing spirit as a growing artist and part time bard... ...and has come to call them "Friends". So all who are reading this...speak "Friend" and enter...

"...and the road goes ever on..."
The ME journey never ends, and we are grateful to have your talent and humour walk with us as we travel the TR road.

Majah, my friend, thank you so much for your support, artistic talents, and encouragement in setting up our new forum. Our family is richer because of your leadership, wonderful art, poems (yes poems!), and humor.
I know we can achieve milestones because we have you!

thanks everyone for you generous comments! i can't take much credit for setting up the board here since it is mostly Desi and Storm's handiwork with a generous side dish of McDLT!!! BUT i will say i enjoyed being involved with it, creating avatars for you ....making images for some of the discussion threads...and the best part, rereading material on the MSN boards that helps remind me how much i enjoy TR and everyone who belongs to it! special thanks Storm...it means a lot to have you call me friend and i have so enjoyed working shoulder to shoulder with you in this venture...and i think soon you and i can sit on the porch and let Desi do it!!! (she can run circles around me anyday!) and to you SLúthieB, you can call me mellon anytime...(just don't call me melon head!) ;D as far as the aforementioned orc thing...i didn't like seeing all my friends be rebirthed in the new forum as orcs so i did some "behind the scenes" magic and lowered the posting levels... and if you wish to move out of the levels even faster, you can find a board and/or projects to volunteer to us help with...Just Contact Storm or myself!!! and while i am on the friend track...did you notice that this forum translates member into friend...i think that is sooooooo cool! take care, Majah

Well I don't know about running circles....I am having a hard time catching my breath just keeping up!
But Majah is right TR is a great place to meet friends and not just be members!

Suilaid Majah! I'm delighted to have been a small part of your journey... Let's continue it for a while longer still. I am so much looking forward to seeing more of your artwork.
The new site looks great, and I'm glad to be here.
Regards, Alaere
