I finally found my way here and I'm happy to meet all of you again. I've just finished reading everyone's intro (and all other messages as well) and you all have my heartfelt greetings. To say I like the new site would be an understatement; I LOVE it! Congratulations to everybody who worked on this. This parchment-like look is great, really inviting and welcoming. I can definitely say it is much, much better than the old MSN look. The only thing I don't like till now is being an orc; I hope it won't last too long, lol! Anyway, I hope all old members from MSN (and new ones as well) will soon find their way here and help make this a great site, as I'm sure it will be. I also hope there's going to be some sort of a meeting in the Prancing Pony sooner or later, so I can meet you all in a more personal manner. Till now I haven't been lucky whenever I tried to access the Pony in the few months of my membership. But I suppose things were not so active due to the preparations for the new site. Which, by the way, is a great place for a journey in Middle-earth and I'm sure I'll enjoy being part of it.

So glad you found your way here and also happy that you like the look! It would be very nice to set up a chat soon, we have not had a good one in a long time and I am sure Barliman is dying to have our business!

Greenleaf:
Glad to see you here. With this forum we can organize and arrange boards and catergories which is much nicer than at MSN!
I hope more of our members stop in and post a few things, too. We really need to get some topics started and get those discussion juices that we all have worked up!
Thank you for liking the new look, too! It is bright and cheerful and even elegant!
Yes, Barliman is keeping his doors open for us all, too. It has been quite some time since I've been there myself. Perhaps we need to set aside and advertise a chat soon because I sure could use a couple of pints of ale to celebrate our new forum!

Mae govannen, Greenleaf! I think you're a new face for me, and I'm honoured to make your acquaintance. This group is not just any group, it's a tight knot of friends, and it's always cosy. I'm looking forward to getting to know you better.
Regards, Alaere

I'm in the initial process, at the moment, of going trough these "Introductions" and familiarizing myself with some of the various members of the community here --- Greenleaf is an excellent choice of name! --- As of this writing, it appears as though you no longer have to concern yourself with being labeled as an "orc"! Looking forward to reading your posts --- Ardo
