T[/size]he Lord of the Rings convention will be held in Manchester, UK from October 22 to 24, 2004, in the Jarvis Piccadilly Hotel. Guest actor speakers include:
CRAIG PARKER - Haldir
MARK FERGUSON - Gil Galad
JORN BENZON - Rumil
JARL BENZON - Glorfindel

T[/size]here will be autograph sessions, themed photograph sessions where you can have your pic taken with the actors, themed parties, and costume competitions. Read more about the convention here.

Cheers for posting this. My brother is a huge Tolkien Fan and he also lives very near where that LoTR conference took place in Manchester...but I only just saw this, so it's too late, as it was on May 30th.

Thanks for the message anyway, and please let me know if anything else Tolkien-related crops up in the U.K in this, the 50th anniversary year of the publication of FoTR.
