Feasts abound in all the Halls of Middle Earth: The Golden Hall, Minas Tirith, The Golden Woods, The Last Homely House, Fangorn Forest, the Wood Elves' Cave in Mirkwood, The Prancing Pony and other Pubs in Bree, All the hobbit holes in all The Shire, Laketown, Dale, Beorn's Hall, the Dwarf Halls of Moria, The Lonely Mountain, Dain's Hall, Tom Bombadil's house . . . and YES! even in Orthanc and Mordor! Time to be THANKFUL wherever you are in Middle Earth! (I am sure I missed listing many places but they are all feasting in thanksgiving, too)

RE Stormrider's: "and YES! even in Orthanc and Mordor!"
Hmmm... the old Karo6 might have something to say on this: "Gorblimey, Shagrat, pass me that hobbit thigh and git yer mug outta da elf-gravy!"
But, in truth it was a quiet day here, sunny warm in the afternoon, southern breeze and blue sky over the garden. We are having a last blooming of the marigolds, they seem not quite sure that winter is really coming. Humming birds and butterflies busy for hours... yeah, lots to be thankful for in a quiet day.

I guess that would be how it would be! Karo6 is right, they would not take a day off and eat TURKEY, GOOSE, DUCK, HAM, would they? I know they prefer MAN FLESH, but wouldn't eating anything raw and bloody do as well?
