SPOLIERS IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED SEASON 7! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . So Jon Snow (Aegon Targaryen) is Daenerys nephew! I was thinking brother-sister, since I wasn't sure of all the names of all the Targaryen's, but I couldn't figure out if Jon Snow's father was Daenerys's father, too. Now that I wrack my memory, I remember Daenerys talking about another brother and a wife from the Martell family. So many names come and go during this show! This helped me out! I can't wait to see how he and Daenerys react to this news.

Now that I wrack my memory, I remember Daenerys talking about another brother and a wife from the Martell family. So many names come and go during this show! This helped me out! I can't wait to see how he and Daenerys react to this news. Yes, Rhaegar Targaryen was married to Elia Martell of Dorne. But it was an arranged marriage and he didn't really love her. His heart belonged to Lyanna Stark. The two of them are Jon's parents. Rhaegar running off with Lyanna was a big turning point during Robert's Rebellion (the war that took place before the show) since Robert Baratheon was also in love with Lyanna. I'm so excited for the final season! But I also have mixed feelings. It's weird that the story is going to be finished on TV before the last book has come out. My fear is that if/when The Winds of Winter is finally released, it'll feel anticlimactic. I wonder if George R.R. Martin regrets selling the TV rights so soon. Probably not actually. The heaping piles of money likely help.

I know there were years between his finishing and publishing each book in the series. So many strings in the web to weave! I wonder how close the HBO Series will be to his book?
I read a short article online from the actress who is Arya Stark. She said everyone should watch the first season before the last season comes out because there are so many clues.

We have 6 inches of snow today and it is still snowing. I hope it doesn't ruin my internet connection for G of T's episode tonight! But once it plays, I can go back and watch it . . . 2, 3 or as much as I want!

I want to fly on a dragon!
I really liked the scene when Jon meets Aria again. They were the best brother-sister team out of all of them.
The look on Samuel Tarlys' face after Danny told him she killed both his father and brother … not when she told him about his father nor his sad face when she told him his brother stood with their father … but after Samuel started walking outside … if looks could kill!
Is Bran going to back up Samuel's revelation about Jon's real parents? Sam doesn't want to follow Danny now that he knows about his family and Jon being the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. How will Jon tell Danny?
at the Wall: The dead boy on the wall with the hands in the octopus design scared the daylights out of me when he came dead-alive! I know, I know, I should have expected it. Well, I did expect him to come dead-alive, but not how they made him do it! Jumped out of my skin!
Jaime Lannister is going to be in big trouble next week!

So many nice touching scenes in this episode. Dany vs Sansa was tricky, some friendly moments and perhaps coming to an acceptance until Sansa asks about the North! I loved Jaime making Brienne a Knight. What does the Night King want with Bran? I have to watch that again, I think I missed something. But that sounds like a good way to get to the Night King by bating poor Bran. But I think Bran knows how it will end--he can see everything, past, present, and future. Arya is going to shoot (or is it a spear?) the ice dragon, I bet! Did she like it or not!

With several scenes about sending the women and children into the crypts for safety, and Daeny's comment in the previews for next week, "The dead are already here." I sure hope they have some of the dragon glass weapons and someone to defend them -- well, there is Tyrion. Hopefully he has dragon glass.
When Podrick sings, it reminded me of Pippin singing for Denethor in Return of the King.
The Night King wants Bran to have an endless night and wipe out the human race. Bran is a banner of life (I think that is what he said) and a 3-eyed Raven.

Oh, Bran is the Memory of all of Westeros! okay I couldn't understand what he said and I got Sam Tarly's comment about "If I were the night king, I'd start with you." but not the first part of Sam's comment.
I had heard they watched LOTR battle scenes, too. So we can expect a long battle, just like Helm's Deep. I can't wait!

I know there is a lot of speculation about the Azor Ahia. Some think it it Jon Snow, some think Daenrys, and several others I can't remember. But what about Beric Dondarrion, with the eye patch? He keeps saying the Lord of Light (Fire) keeps bringing him back for some purpose. How many times was he brought back from the dead? I don't remember but it is quite a few!
