Wow! The rain really came down. I hope no homes had water inside them from all that rain. It sure dried up by the next day. Sad to see the trees and cactuses ripped out of the ground.

Having a heavy monsoon this year, our local streambed is in full flood. Some of the community's houses are, just now, only six feet above the water. Our house is up on a plateau some 150 feet above the flood. I'll try to find some pictures. This is the third day of four inch rainfalls, floods all over southern and central Arizona... Some video from a mile or so downstream of us, shot on the 24th when the current rains began: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nr10F7JzWLIMore video shot on the 26th, but 40 miles from us on Eastside of Tucson: www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHj-rGOnWcQ

Holy cow! Those waters are moving fast! People still driving thru at pretty good speeds rather surprised me. Especially driving on a dry road and all of a sudden the side street bursts out onto your road without warning.
Stay high and dry, Andy! But rain is a good thing, right?
