I'm performing in Contact with Zooming the Movies and we have the movie's screenwriter making a special appearance for a Q&A! I'm playing various roles including the eccentric millionaire S.R. Hadden and the religious cult leader Joseph. Should be interesting.

Saturday afternoon matinee! I don't think I've seen that movie. You have some interesting sounding parts though. It's a really good movie starring Jodie Foster and Matthew McConaughey based on a book by Carl Sagan. It's about what would happen if we received a message from outer space and what the reaction would be from society, government, religion, etc.

Contact: www.facebook.com/21103418/videos/10101562880437082/EDIT: We had Jim Hart, the screenwriter of the movie on for a Q&A afterward. He was messaging us during the reading and told me that I did a "hellvua impression" of actor John Hurt in one of my scenes. That was a bit a thrill for me.

I'm already involved in another reading. Monday night at 7 pm CST, I'm narrating Coraline. I love the movie and the book it's based on so I wanted to be part of this. This will be my first time narrating one of these things. I hope I do a good job.

Wow, Freddie!!! Fantastic having the screenwriter on and that he noticed you and your impression. I've seen the movie Contact but it was age ago. I loved it!
Break a leg on Coraline. I know you will be great!

Great review from Jim Hart! You are really fine tuning your acting skills! I still haven't seen it yet, but I will. Just need to fit time in between all of our doctor, vet, dentist, etc. visits this week back home in Illinois!

You were very good as Hadden. Eccentric, mysterious, intelligent. Joseph was great, too.
I did see this movie before, well, only the ending where she was transporting and seeing her dad is all that I had seen.
Has Zooming the Movies done 12 Monkeys or Seven? Those would be interesting.

No idea. They did quite a few of these before I joined the group so I'm not sure. Hadden was so much fun to play. I wish he had more scenes. I guess I can add John Hurt to the list of voices and impressions I can do.

This Saturday at 7:00 pm CST, I'm going to be in Bride of Frankenstein. I'm playing a few ensemble roles including Lord Byron and various hunters and peasants. We're going to all use Zoom filters so the reading will be in black and white. Also, I've joined an upcoming reading of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. It's my least favorite of the movies but I'll take any chance to hang out in Middle-earth. I'll be playing Radagast, Bolg, and Bombur so lots of costume changes.

Hey! Isn't that the play Desi and I came down to see you in? Or was it the first Frankenstein Mel Brooks movie? It will be more authentic in B&W. Have fun changing costumes ... LOL!
Are you going to have a crazy bunny rabbit sleigh? Bombur should be fun to dress as. Bolg will need a bald head and lots of scars! Sounds like fun. I did see on FB that you said you were interested in being in it.

I did see on FB that you said you were interested in being in it. You came to see me in Young Frankenstein, based on the Mel Brooks movie. Bride of Frankenstein is one of the original movies. Don't think I will have a bunny sled for The Hobbit. Though I do have a Roger Rabbit doll that could stand in for the Rhosgobel rabbits. Since I'll be switching between characters, I can't do makeup scars for Bolg. I used to have a bald cap but it may have disintegrated or been thrown out years ago. Still figuring out what I can piece together costume-wise for all of these.

We tried to livestream our reading of Bride of Frankenstein but got a cease and desist order from Universal Studios. So we can't post it unfortunately.

Uh oh. How did "they" find out? And why? Hope this does not cause a problem in future productions.
