Let's see if I can keep this straight: The nature card is hosted in my TR photobucket folder The horse I posted is hosted in my TR photobucket folder The Elrond is hosted in Vanye's TR photobucket folder So, for what it's worth.... my images in my folder seem to work Vanye's images in my folder seem to work my images in Vanye's folder seem to work So, I can't see the problem is with Vanye's folder or with Vanye's images. And for what it's worth... if the problem was that photobucket was not sending the image properly, I think it would show up as a red x... and some here say they can see a red x. But I can't. I only see the word "Image" between square brackets. I'm not buying the photobucket responsibilty yet. addendum: here's something I didn't try... to post one of Vanye's images hosted in Vanye's folder. You guys can't get it to work, let's see if I can:

I've sent an email off to Photobucket. They did show maintenance was being done on July 11 and 12, but it is now the 15th and we still have the problem.

All the ones I posted are still there, though. For what it's worth (I keep saying that), one time that I tried to post a picture yesterday, it failed to display properly in preview. When I looked back, I realilzed the tag was incomplete. You know... you just stick your cursor in the field and the whole thing is highlighted but you can't read the whole thing cause it's too long. Well, I thought I had the whole tag highlighted for copy but the whole tag didn't paste. It was missing the end. So I went back and redid it and this time the whole tag was there and it previewed and posted fine. I have to wonder if I just didn't have the whole tag highlighted or if photobucket... at that moment, didn't have the whole tag there. Now, I know you guys have done this enough to probably catch that... but I thought I would throw it out there... for what it was worth.

I just noticed that when you post the image code to the site...it is changing the words "TR m e m b e r s" and "m e m b e r" to "Friend" in the code!
I have been staring at the image codes since this problem started and I can't believe I overlooked that switch! I was looking for the complete code rather than an accurate code. The codes all looked complete and it was really bugging me!
Then when Magpie suggested making sure the codes were complete and not missing anything, I went back and highlighted Vanye's dragon code and made sure it was complete, pasted it under the code already there and compared them! The new one I just pasted had not been posted yet so it still said "m e m b e r s" and all the others had been changed to "friends"!
I went back in my post above with the Elfstone, Vanye's Dragon, Majah's name, and Tom Shippey and went and changed all the switched words back to the way they should be!
I am going to head over to the Admin functions and check out the naughty words that are listed to be censored to something else that is not naughty. I bet "m e m b e r" is listed there and it is switching it to "friend". I will remove "m e m b e r" from the list if it is there!
Man I am glad this problem was was figured out finally!
Geeze and what a dumb thing too!
***** Well, I just looked in the censored words area and "m e m b e r" or "m e m b e r s" are not listed there at all! Anyway, the code did change all by itself....go look at the code for the other pictures in the posts above that are not appearing and see for yourself. (To see hit the "modify" button, then you can see the post in edit mode)

Yep! That Javascript code is on the footers of all the forums!
For the time being, I have removed it from the Art forum. When I get more time to go through each forum to remove that code, I will do so.
I just have a very busy weekend and next week is Country Thunder Wisconsin! Woo Hoo! Desi and I and her kids and hubby and my other two kids (Desi's Siblings) will be camping out, singing, and dancing, and just plain partying from July 20th to 24th!

well see... all those "for what it's worth" points kind of paid off. That's how I think brainstorming in a group works well. I can't think why a point would be pertinent, but perhaps someone else can. It makes sense to me that member is a word that might be censored... although one has to wonder what some conversations are like if one has to worry about any possible word that could be bawdy... but I don't understand why some pictures showed up (like the ones I posted) and some didn't. But, I don't have to understand for the fix to work.
Good sleuthing, Stormrider.

If the picture was in the TR member photobucket the IMG code had the word member in it so the java script was changing it to friend which made the IMG code not correct. So if the pictures were saved in a different photobucket account or different place they did not have the word member in the IMG code so they always worked.

All of the pictures (but one) that I posted were in my TRmembers account. (If you right click on the image and pull up properties, you can see the TRmember section of the tag.) And I posted a picture in Vanye's TRmember account, that none of you seemed able to post. It would have had the same url tag as you guys had used but your tag didn't work and mine did.
The only difference I could imagine between one you of posting a picture and me posting a picture would be which browser we were using. I'm using Firefox which is less commonly used than Internet Explorer or Netscape. And there is a difference in interface when posting messages with browsers. I have options and capabilities in Internet Explorer that I do not have in Firefox.
But... I can't see how that would have impacted the url tags or any censoring of words.
