This is one of the easiest for me. I just LOVE Feanor!!! He has that bad boy kind of image that almost every girl likes. He's creative and has such a passion about him. His moodiness I could do without, but then taking that away might subdue his creativity. Anyway, I could go on and on - I just LOVE Feanor!

Since I don't know much about Feanor (though the bad boy image sounds appealing) I voted for Glorfindle. I love the way he rushes in with his horse and then sends Frodo off racing from the Nazgul.

Of course, Legolas. His friendship and loyalty to the Fellowship is unwaivered by any difference in race. He embraced Gimli and Aragorn as brethren and his skill as an archer is legend.

Of course I voted for Glorfindel. After all, he was my previous incarnation before Fang. I wonder, could he have been the Elf that first awakened Treebeard?

I chose Lúthien... I'm in love with her story... I can't help it, but when it comes to things like this, I'm hopelessly romantic... *Sighs*

I love Glorfindel the best! He is of high elven blood, can stand against the Nine, trusted his Asfaloth to Frodo, helped scare the Black Riders that remained on shore into the Bruinen, and is fearless. I was sad to see that he did not appear in the story more and was really shocked when Arwen replaced him in the movie!

I chose Legolas. Too predictable, eh? ;D He is a brave warrior, a loyal friend and a lover of forests. I can also relate to the fact he's not a leader-type (like Aragorn). When I was a little girl and played Indians or Pirates with my friends, I liked to assume the role of a character with the above mentioned traits (but never being the leader!) So, when I met Legolas in the books as a grown-up, he was the one I could relate to most. Plus, he's the Elf we get to know most (although a lot of things remain unclear and vague about him). Second, I think I'd choose Elrond. He's so wise and lord of the Last Homely House. I'd certainly love to be a guest there!

Galadriel!! I mean, yes Orlando is hot but I've loved Galadriel since I was 9 years old. Cate Blanchett did a great job portraying her too, I love how she brought out her power and that element of darkness and mystery in her which has always intrigued me.
Wouldn't kick Legolas out of bed for eating peanuts, ya know, but there you go.

rofl McDLT, I knew you and I shared a love of Boromir, but I had no idea you loved Fëanor as I do! We should start a Boromir and Fëanor appreciation page and expound on the reasons everyone should love them the way we do. His greatness is so utterly unappreciated. So he had a bit of a temper. *shrugs*

I went with Elrond. I still remember how the mystery and nobility of this character caught my attention in The Hobbit. Legolas is a close second just because he's superhumanly competant at everything but Elrond's wisdom appeals to me more.

I've voted for Elrond, for his wisdom, and being so close to all other races. Him torn between two worlds (elven and human) makes gives his character some tragedy, especially when his daughter chooses Aragorn above an eternal life in Valinor with him and his family.
My most favourite Elf wasn't in the poll however. He is Círdan, the shipbuilder. When learning more about Tolkien and his Middle-earth, I stumbled upon him, and immediately liked him. Like all Elves he's wise. He forsaw Gandalf's importance when the Wizards arrived in Middle-earth. He has experienced so much, as he was one of the Elves that was born before the Ages of the Sun, and decided to stay in Beleriand with his people and not travelling to Valinor. He has shown he cares about his people, and doesn't abandon them whatever happened. Also, he remains as one of the last Elves. In that time, he has seen many battles, and has been close to important historical events. But at the same time, only little is known of this lord, compared to other elven kings. This mysterious aspect has drawn me even closer to him.
