Did they destroy the creature?
Did Charlie take the cocaine to use again or just the religious statue of the Madonna to reacquaint him with his Catholic Religion?
The boat that showed up for the raft was awfully small to be a rescue ship! I did not have a good feeling about that once I saw its size!
Were the rescue people really humans or just disguised as humans to fool them? Where did they come from?
What do they want with "the boy"? What is Mike going to do? What can he do floating in the ocean!
What happened to Sawyer and the Korean Guy? How will they all get back?
Why didn't Locke listen to Hurley after Hurley saw those numbers and said it was bad to open the hatch? Locke went ahead and lit the nitro anyway. I wanted to hear Hurley's explanation why not to do it! (Remember the kid also told Locke not to open the hatch, too)
That is an awfully long descent on that ladder down the hatch opening--it seemed bottomless!

I was not concerned with the size of the rescue boat because thet were not out there hoping to be resuced by a special rescue boat, they were out there hoping to run into anyone...fisherman ect...
Sawyer better not be dead!!!
Hurley didn't want him to open the hatch because it had his bad luck numbers on it.
I found it interesting that Jack wanted to know if Kate would have his back because he suspects they are going to have Locke issues.
I guess we all get to be LOST until the new season starts!!!

I wonder if Sawyer and/or the Korean guy (what's his name?) Grabbed onto that boat before it took off!
Well, yeah, I knew Hurley saw the numbers, but I still wanted to hear his explanation to the others!
And I don't really trust Locke either!

I'm rather late to the party, I know, but since I never did chime in about the season finale, I thought I'd give my two cents. It was a fantastic episode, as they always are, but this show really frustrates me. After watching it for a whole season, I had hoped to get a few more answers than "The others are a bunch of creepy guys on a boat" and "The hatch is really, really deep." Y'know what I mean? The season finale didn't seem like it brought us that much closer to understanding what's going on with this island. The constant teases drive me to distraction! Thankfully, the writing is very good so I can still enjoy myself while going slowly mad. Maybe I'm just too impatient for this style of pacing. Who knows?

Well, this kind of unanswering season finale is "old hat" to me. I used to watch the X-Files and they NEVER gave out much information on the alien episodes EVER! It was also very frustrating....or what they gave out just added more confusion and questions!

My fear is that they wrote a good 'mystery' but they have no good answer and they will just string us all along. It is well written (and I love the soundtrack music, as well) and I've been a huge fan. But I was disappointed and a lot of the people on the 'official' forum (the one run by the producers, not the one run by ABC) were disappointed too. Between the let down of not feeling any satisfaction from the final episode and the infighting that started when people got put off by any critical comments, a lot of enthusiasm just got deflated.
I will certainly watch it next year, but it may not be destination tv. I will be content to tape it and watch it when I can and expect NO ANSWERS. Really, I think it may be a quirky, well written soap... it's going to go nowhere and take a long time to get there.

Well, if you are reading the boards from the site run by the Producers, perhaps they will pick up on the disappointment and frustration of everyone and plan on making the next season better with more answers to keep the audience happier and fulfilled. That might be why the Producers set up the site--for feedback and reactions.

I expected no answers because if there were answers there would be no more show. I am interested to see how they get Michael back, I feel so bad for that boy!

Man.....that is still a month away!
Did anyone get this week's TV Guide with the Lost Video CD on it? There is a Season 2 Preview on it and it isn't very long nor does it show you much! But it lets you know that the people who are LOST, are not the survivors they think they are!

I am so pissed!!! I recorded 7pm cuz I saw that on my onscreen guide. I didn't scroll to 8pm and see LOSt on there again. So all I got was the crappy summary of what has already happened!!! So if any one knows when/if they rerun the season opener let me know. Alot of times they will do it sometime during the week before the next show. Or if anyone watched it and can tell us what happened....

I just found a really cool wiki site for LOST that will give you recaps of the episodes. Go here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Episodes_of_LostThe description needs some editing so I'll make two points below. I guess I can't really use spoiler font... the different colors of each skin prevent that. These are small points and not significant spoilers. The story of Jack meeting his future wife is a little garbled. Jack's bedside demeanor is blunt and tactless and the tells Sara, the patient he's just worked on, that she'll never walk again. He's chastised by his father. Just before surgery, she calls Jack to her and tells him it will be okay. She knows she won't walk and this seems to get to Jack and he says he will fix her. Later we see him running up the stairs of a stadium (at night) and another figure is there running also. This figure is running up the stairs (one section over) faster than Jack and Jack steps up the pace - resulting in him turning his ankle. The man comes to him and says he was almost a doctor and looks at the ankle. That's when the discussion about miracles ensues. Jack is beating himself up because he failed to 'fix' Sara. Desmond asks if he doesn't believe in miracles and Jack says no (I think.. that was my vague memory but don't quote me on his exact response). Then the man says, 'I just have on thing to tell you (or something like that) Lift it up. This is said with some sense of importance and Jack goes, HUN? and Desmond says... Lift up your ankle... although this is an abrupt change in conversation. I believe 'Lift it up' has some significance. The flashbacks were all Jack centric. Kate and Locke were second in air time... as they were going down the hatch. Hurley got after Jack saying he had no bedside manner when Jack didn't believe the notion of a curse on the numbers. Dom's character (can't remember his name at the moment) made a big deal about how Danielle was nuts and had 'made it all up' and there were no others. Sayid kind of looked at him a bit oddly at one point. I wondered if this was hinting at possible drug use by Dom's character... remember when Sayid showed Dom the plane with the bags of heroin? I think that was significant... not only that Dom knows where they are now, but that Sayid seemed to make it a point to show Dom. (gads, why can't I remember his name?) Charlie... it's Charlie.
