Please join me in congratulating this month's winners:
First place: Iarwain Ben-adar
Second place: Sparrow
Third place: Glorfindle
Thanks to everyone who participated -- and special thanks to our poets for sharing their talents. It takes a bit of courage to share your creative work, even with a group of friends, so I hope each of you knows how much you're appreciated. Well done!
Winners, your prize ribbon files are attached to this message -- please download your prize and display it proudly in each of your posts this month. (Last month's winners were a little shy, apparently. Let's see more of those ribbons this month -- show 'em off, you've earned it!) Please let me know if you have any technical problems with these files; I've changed them slightly and am posting jpegs rather than gifs.
Again, congratulations to all!

Just adding my note to the congratulatory chorus here: well done, Iarwain, Sparrow and Glorfindle. Looking forward to even MORE! LOL - a greedy, poetry reading public always demands more and more of its creative members, so to keep the juices flowing I'll contribute a case of Old Winyards for the continued stimulation of all such poetic efforts!

Thank all of you ! From all of us, if I might be so bold. It is truely a delight to write verse. But the greater delight is experience of having others delight in you verse.
Olórië,
I am having problems with the jpeg, perhaps you might offer some insitght? I know I downloaded something, and I saved it to my briefcase. But I found nothing there when I went to use it. I'm sure it's my latent computer ability (almost non-existent ability, actually!) So if you have tips, they would be welcome.
Namárië,
Iarwain

I echo Iarwain in both the thanks and the explanation that writing verse and having someone enjoy it, is far superior to any awards that can be won. I for one hope mostly to get FAR MORE entries than we have been getting, and ideas to that effect would be greatly appreciated.

Iarwain, Sparrow, and Glor, apologies for the bad prize ribbon files; corrected ones are attached to this message.
And let me just echo Glor's wish for more entries in our little contests. I'm very grateful to those who have entered and would love to find ways to help others feel equally inspired -- the more, the merrier! -- so any and all helpful comments are welcome. Thanks in advance...
Olórië
