I'm guessing most of you check TORn frequently, but if not get yerself over there. The preview for the ROTK EE is out. It's at the official film site... apparently - I can never find anything over there. But I downloaded mine from some other site that TORn listed. Look for this entry: Ringer Spies Owen and Captain_Typho were kind enough to extract a link for the bigger version of the 6 minute preview! Right click and save the following...
watch it... cry a little... laugh a little... then come back and discuss.

I just get so bummed out at times like this because I have dial up and I just do not even bother downloading that kind of stuff. I guess I will be surprised when I actaully watch the EE DVD!!!

gWell....It took much longer than just one hour's time to load to my pc.....it took 3 1/2 hours.....so I watched more TV than I planned to!
Now when I try to open it, I get a pop up window asking what program to open it in. Does anyone know? Is it Quick Time, Real Player, or Windows Media Player, or something else?
I want to watch it and I am stumped!

It's a Quicktime file. When I tried to open mine the computer asks if I want to search for the correct program and then it took me to the Quicktime site for download. I recently reloaded Windows and I'm slowly replacing all my settings and such.
When you download Quicktime it automatically downloads iTunes at the same time. Don't let it freak you... it's still free.

Thanks, Magpie! I loaded Quick Time and I have seen the EE trailer!
All the scenes we knew had been filmed are there! (well....not Scouring but everything else!)
I really can't wait for the EE to come out now!

This is the link to the bigger version on an alternate site. I viewed it with windows media player. With cable, it opened in seconds and played fantastic on full screen view. A very well done trailer, with tons of spoilers. Of course I love spoilers, but be warned if you don't.
When sites give you an option of media views, e.g. Quicktime, Realplayer, and windows, I prefer Realplayer, as the sound quality is the best. I chose windows second, and quicktime last. I downloaded the latest versions of each, they are all free. Sometimes sites support all 3 or more, but just use whatever one you have set as your default. If you have room on your hard drive, I would advise to download all of them. Many times one works when another will not. Good luck and enjoy!

I watched it last night on Stormrider's PC....I thought the picture on quicktime was great no choppiness and none with the sound too.
The preview was great, I can't wait to see the DVD!!! Isn't it December 14th yet?
