From: Stormridr (Original Message) Sent: 5/11/2003 10:14 PM Frodo and the Orcs in the Tower of Cirith Ungol by Nata Drozdova The orcs questioned Frodo until he felt as though he would go mad. I am sure that the orcs were not privy to the fact that Sauron was looking specifically for the Ring, so what do you think they questioned Frodo about? How alert was Frodo during the orcs' interrogation? Shelob's poison was just beginning to wear off. Could he have divulged his mission under this foggy state of mind unintentionally?

From: Desi-Baggins Sent: 5/13/2003 5:51 PM I think they questioned him about why he was trespassing and if he was alone on his travels. I don’t think Frodo revealed anything about the Ring or much else for that matter. I feel this way because when the mouth of Sauron is showing the garments from Frodo to Gandalf, Aragorn and Pippin I think he was doing it to see if he could get them to reveal more information about Frodo’s mission.
