From: Stormridr (Original Message) Sent: 6/1/2003 9:21 PM Re Elessar by Domenico Franchi Aragorn seems to have gained much wisdom, strength of character, and mercy and justice in dealing with the remnants of the enemies, those who did wrongly during the battles, and with those who were true. He pardoned the Easterlings, made peace with the Haradrim, and gave the lands around Lake Núrnen to the slaves of Mordor. The slaves or Mordor consisted of what races of people? Were there various peoples? Would they all get along together? How did the orcs fare in a new land without Sauron's control over them? Would they learn to live as normal races? Beregond killed fellow Gondorians during the war against Sauron and this was punishable by death. But rather than give him a death sentence, Aragorn rewards Beregond by appointing him to the White Company and as Guard to Faramir. Aragorn makes Faramir the Prince of Ithilien and to reside in Emyn Arnen. Would Faramir and Beregond be in charge of cleansing and rebuilding Minas Ithil in the Morgul Vale?

From: Desi-Baggins Sent: 6/3/2003 9:53 AM Aragorn says that he wants Minas Ithil to be destroyed and no man to live there for many years. So I feel that Faramir won't do much with it till much time has passed and then if something needs to be be built there it will have a different name! I was very glad to hear what Beregond's punishment was! The punishment fit the crime!
As far as the people of Mordor I need to to do some research and hope to find some info. Desi
