The band of orcs hastening to Isengard are composed of three seperate factions. What are these factions? What are the primary motivations of each individual faction? Why do the Isengarders seem to have the upper-hand. Does this insinuate any themes relative to Saruman and Sauron?

Uh... Weren't the three factions Moria, Isengard, and Mordor orcs? (Lughburz, if you prefer.) Uh... Motivations? The Moria orcs were coming after the fellowship for what they did in Moria, right? The Isengarders were taking the hobbits back to Saruman... and the Mordor orcs... Oh my. Hadn't they just been fighting in Rohan and happened upon the Uruk-Hai? (Durn how the reading schedule for my class doesn't match this one, and I read these chapters over two weeks ago... Durn it.)

Three factions of Orcs:
1. The Misty Mountain Orcs -
Motivation: Revenge for the "attack" of Moria
2. The Mordor Orcs - servants of the Great Eye, Grishnakh and Snaga could not have overcome the Fellowship without the Isengard.
Motivation: They were caught up in the fighting at Amon Hen and followed the Isengard Orcs and wanted to get back to Lutzburg in Mordor... wanted to get the them back to Mordor...
3. The Isengard Orcs - Servants of White Hand - fighting Uruk-hai Ugluk - Motivation: Following orders from Saruman to bring back the halflings unspoiled.
None knew of the Ring. These are the statements made by the Orcs...
...The orders "Kill all but not the Halflings; the are to be broungt back ALIVE as quickly as possible. That's my orders.".... "No I heard that one of them has got something, somting that's wanted for the War, some elvish plot or other. ....The prisoners are NOT to be searched or plundered: those are my orders... ""....."Alive and as captured: no spoing that's my orders..."
Please make corrections if I have anything is wrong...
