I will not reprint the text here but once again, in Book IV Chapter Seven, we are given another dreamscape for Frodo. Something that I notice is that Frodo's dreams often center on Gandalf in some fashion. Why is Gandalf such a central figure in Frodo's subconcious? Are we being led to believe that Gandalf is actively using Frodo's subconcious to build resolve possibly? Anyone have any insights on this topic?
