OK. It is up. The next part of my comment here has spoilers if you have not read my piece. Please, read my piece first. Scroll down once you are ready.....
Spoilers
I had hoped to ask permission from Freddie to use Dwyrmur in our story. And I was hoping to have a conversation with him about it, using chat in LOTRO. But, that didn't happen. So, now I am asking forgiveness.... ...And permission to use Dwyr beyond simply introducing us to Grimbeorn. Fan

Cool! An Eagle Ride! That sounds like fun! It would be nice if Dwyrmur joined our role play story, if he would like, too. But if he doesn't have time to write, allowing us to use his dwarf tank would be nice.
I was trying to think of how we could merge a bit of LOTRO into our written role play. Some weapons training is a very good idea!

Alright, this is kool, eagles too, and side ventures to the east. Hmmm, we get to ask Grimbeorn just who his mum, or would it be grand mum, was -- bearish kind of lady?
Nicely done Fan!

Grimbeorn would be an interesting new adventure for the team to meet up with. He can give us hand-to-hand contact and weapons training--just incase we need those things as we travel further into dangerous territory.

Very creative! Eagle ride and a small detour so we don't run into the fellowship!

Hey guys, I am fine with joining the role-play but I have no idea what is going on. Should I read the story to date or can one of you give me a synopsis? It's a pretty long thread.
Another question: Are you approaching this like a round-robin story? It looks like you're providing dialogue for each other's characters in your posts. I've done message board role-plays before but the rule was that you can only state what your own character does/says. Is that not the case here?

We are each taking a turn (in order usually) writing to the tale. We do put words in each other's mouths, yes.
Basically, We were pulled into Middle Earth unexpectedly and we are trying to get back to our real lifes. Previous friends who used to write with us on this tale, stopped coming or posting to TR so we have written them out as having taken on their Middle Earth character and cannot return home. It wouldn't hurt for you to start reading the last couple of pages in the Adventure since DaleAnn (Fanuidhol) restarted it a few months ago. Reading our newer entries will give you an idea of how we all relate to each other and how we speak, etc., which could help.
We are trying to follow the Fellowship without changing any of the outcome or being seen by them during their LOTR storyline written by Tolkien. Or if we come in contact with them, we can't interfere with anything that could set their course off.
Right now, we don't want to enter into Lothlorien because the Fellowship will be there for about a month. We are going to go for some combat training by Beorn's son and flown there via Eagle Express. Hopefull, we can go back and meet Galadriel and look into her Mirror! But it just depends on our individual spin on the tale.
You are an AWESOME writer and I can see you adding some interesting twists!

OK, I added my post. Let me know what you think. It may take me a while to get all your characters' voices right. My chapter's just set-up in case anyone wanted to show their reaction to the Eagle flight or had a particular agenda for when we meet Grimbeorn.

Nice touch Dwyrmur. You will be a nice addition to our little story-telling group. Is Dwyrmur someone who actually is a permanent resider in Middle-earth or like we are--trying to get back home to our real life?
The new writing rotation is: Fanuidhal for DaleAnn Fredeghar for Dwyrmur Andorinha Stormrider Desi

Thanks! Dwyrmur is an actual resident of Middle-earth. I'd rather fully embrace the fantasy setting instead of just play a version of myself (plus he has his LOTRO history already).
