Has anyone else watched this show? It is an original series on Netflix, created by the Wachowskis -- The Matrix, Cloud Atlas -- and the creator of Babylon5, whose name escapes me. Anyway, I LOVE this show. The last one that had me hooked like this was Lost. And I compare everything that has been on TV since Lost, to Lost. Everything until now has been found wanting. My week used to revolve around when the next episode of Lost was going to be on. This is not the case with Sense8, and not just because I can watch the episodes whenever I want. It approaches what I felt with Lost, but, not quite to the intensity I used to feel. But, I AM emotionally invested in the characters.
It does have shortcomings, not the least of which is that you must subscribe to Netflix to watch it. There are some stereotypical scenes/writing, but there is, also, so much to the series that makes it very original. I don't want to give anything away. Just give it a try -- at least 4 episodes worth -- before you decide to not watch it anymore.

No, I have not seen this show nor heard of it. I do not have Netflix so I don't believe I will be able to watch it. Now you have me curious about it. You can't give any story line clues at all? It will ruin it? DARN!
LOST! I loved that show, too, but then it fizzled out and became very disappointing in the end.

I am one those people who LOVED the last season and especially the last episode of Lost.... You can watch a month of Netflix for free, if you go to www.netflix.com. here's a Trailer : www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKpKAlbJ7BQBut, don't watch any others! YouTube will give too much away! By the way , my grandson is too young for this show and my mother too old. There is mature content. I've been around the block a few times, but, even so, I think there were some things that I could have lived without seeing. And now will never un-see. Fan

One more post about Sense8, then I'll drop it. This link pretty much sums up how I feel about it. It doesn't give tooo much away, but, if you decide to watch it, forget what you read. io9.com/the-wachowskis-sense8-is-the-philip-k-dick-adaptation-1713401427"Sense8 is a dizzying, multicoloured tone poem more than a pulse-pounding thriller. The plot is window-dressing for an ambitious, experimental approach to character development. It is not about what is happening, so much as it is about whom it is happening to, and what that feels like." Fan PS. I think I want to explain something. When I referred to being unable to un-see some things, it was mostly about watching births including a cesarean "head on" so to speak. I was present (as an adult) for 6 births in my life so far, and was standing up for 4 of them. But, I never wanted to see it from that angle.
