to thank LOTR fans from around the world for
helping to launch The One Ring Celebration in 2005.
The love of the Tolkien stories and its various incarnations was felt throughout the weekend as thousands made new friends and mixed, mingled and listened to some of the wonderful guests at the event! Special thanks to headliners ELIJAH, SEAN, DOMINIC and BILLY (all four hobbits!) and the genre's living legend JOHN RHYS-DAVIES! All awesome entertainers on-stage and going all out to make sure EVERYONE got their autographs and photo ops! All our guests have told us that they had a marvelous time, just as we did!
Truly a weekend to remember and one that we are going top in January 2006 !
2006 Convention Events:
With multi-tracks of programming covering all aspects of Tolkien lore (including films, literature/scholar, illustration, costuming and our popular kids track), ORC 2006 promises to be inspirational, educational and most importantly FUN!
Thousands of fans from around the globe made our premiere convention the most successful launch of our 34 year career: let's take that momentum and make ORC 2006 one for the history books!
Guests and specific events, panels, and party news will be forthcoming.
Convention Tickets:
At this early time we are now accepting registrations for the coveted
WIZARD CIRCLE SEATING. This weekend package quickly sold out in 2005, and your 2006 WIZARD CIRCLE SEATINGS will be placed behind those fans who graciously signed up at our 2005 event. (About 100 WIZARD CIRCLE SEATS are sold as of March 1, 2005).
HOTEL ROOM RESERVATIONS:
The special rate of $139 a night will be available at The Pasadena Sheraton Hotel shortly. Visit www.pasadenacal.com/housing/ within a few months to make your room bookings.
Creation Entertainment holds a "block" of rooms for our attendees as described above. These blocks of rooms have a lower rate than standard rates at the hotel, but they also have a "cut-off" point after which hotels may choose to revert back to their own higher rates for our customers. Usually this cut off date is one month prior to the event, but this does vary. Therefore it is always wise to book your rooms for our conventions as early as possible.

All dealers must have a temporary sellers permit from the State of California if you intend to sell at this event. You may view, print and mail the required sellers permit form from the California State Web site
