I recently joined a group called the Tolkien Club of the Western Suburbs that meets at the Oak Park Library. This month, I was roped into hosting the meeting so I decided to organize a game night (well, afternoon) where we will play a Lord of the Rings Trivia board game. I've owned this for years but never had anyone to play it with. I will likely be hosting this meeting in my Bilbo Baggins costume (because why not?).
If I recall, some of you live in Illinois. If you're free next Saturday, we'd love to have you join us!

That's wonderful Freddie! And a great way to put your trivia game and Bilbo outfit to good use. I bet it will be a huge success. How many people can play the game at once? I was just wondering how many people usually come to the meetings--I assume it varies depending on what people have going in real life, too. I will see what Desi Baggins is up to that day and see if she might like to go. I know she has a weekend planned where she wants her friends and family to come over and help her paint the interior of her house! Not sure if it is this weekend or next! I would be roped into that!

Wow! This is great, Freddie! I wish I lived closer. It is about a 7-8 hour drive from where I live in MO. I bet everyone will have a great time!

I checked with Desi and that is our painting weekend and also celebrating Desi's husband and son's birthdays. Have fun and good luck with your trivia night.
